Things to look forward to in the next few months of our podcast
Hey everyone, Alison here!
So Luke and I have been brainstorming a lot this week and we're really excited to get this podcast rolling! We've decided that starting this week we're going to be releasing Chaos at the Kitchen Table weekly with new episodes coming out every Sunday, and we're going to try to stick to that schedule as best as we can.
So what can you be looking forward to in the next few months? Well as we mentioned in our intro episode, we play Warhammer 40,000 and Magic the Gathering the most frequently so you can definitely expect to hear some Amonkhet spoiler season thoughts, and discussions on recent Games Workshop announcements especially since there were some big ones at AdeptiCon.
We are also thinking of doing some episodes on Kings of War, Infinity, and Kingdom Death. I personally haven't played them yet (except for Kingdom Death), but I'm really excited to try them all out. Our goal there is to give you guys a overview of the the games from both the perspective of someone who has been into those games for a while, and the perspective of someone who is just getting into them for the first time. I'm planning on going to downtown Toronto this weekend to pick up a starter Infinity box (I'm still debating between the Tohaa or Haqqislam factions).
As some of you may have noticed, we have a YouTube page which we haven't done anything with yet. We don't have a lot of video equipment currently, but we're hoping to eventually do some unboxing videos on there, especially as our Kingdom Death Kickstarter packages start coming in. We were also thinking of doing some game demonstrations, and maybe some painting tutorials (I have a primed Magnus the Red still waiting to be painted).
So I hope that gives you a taste for the direction we are hoping to go in for Chaos at the Kitchen table. Don't forget to follow us on social media and subscribe to the podcast (which is officially on iTunes now) to make sure you don't miss out on any of our episodes. If you have any comments or suggestions, we'd love to hear what kind of content you would like to see on any of our platforms!
